3 Ways To Surf The Internet In Privacy

Internet privacy is a big issue.

Sometimes you need to be careful what you are doing online.

I, for one, don't believe the government should be looking into what I am doing or not doing online.  Just none of their business.

So that being said, here's 3 quick ways to increase your privacy online.

1) Use incognito mode.

I use this mostly for testing conversions since it does not save or load history.  Keep in mind that this does not keep your internet private from your employer or ISP.

2) Use a VPN

A VPN allows you to appear to use a different IP Address.  There are many reasons for this, but it also allows you to surf and download torrents without ISP's being able to see what you are doing.

Sometimes this is helpful for watching Sports (which typically have IP geo-restrictions) or expanding your Netflix subscription to access what Netflix offers in other countries.  (Yep, it can be different!)

I use PIA as my go-to VPN as it works for desktop and mobile.

3) Use Brave.

Brave is a new browser based on the open-source Chromium project – which is the same as Google Chrome.  And all the Chrome extentions work flawlessly in Brave.

Brave natively blocks ads, and allows you to reward content creators you like automatically with BAT (a cryptocurrency) rather than ads – which it blocks.

I have been using Brave for the last couple of months, and it's now my go-to browser.

Give those a try and let me know what you think!
