Medium Guest Post

Get your product exposure on Medium with a Medium Guest Post.

The Rules of the Game

People pitch me guest posts every single day. I reject almost all of them. Most brands want a cheap backlink. They send a pre-written article. The writing is stiff. The ideas are boring. I don’t play that game.

I run a specific kind of Medium publication. I built an audience here. They read my work because they trust my voice. I protect that trust.

If you want a Medium guest post on my blog, we do it my way. I write the content. I test your software. I share my actual perspective.

Authenticity is the whole point.

What I Require

My process is simple. I don’t accept raw submissions. If you represent a brand, you hire me to write about your product. You sponsor my work.

1. Pay for Access

I charge a fee to reach my targeted audience. You buy my time and my distribution. If that works for you, reach out through my contact form here. I send my rates. We figure out the details.

2. Full Product Access

I can’t write about something I haven’t touched. I need full access to your software. Give me a premium account. Let me break it. Sometimes I find bugs. Maybe I use it in a way you didn’t intend. That is exactly what makes the writing good.

I write the article. I sit down, open your software, and try to do a real task. If you sell an SEO tool, I use it to audit a real website. If you sell a design app, I design something real. I spend days inside your ecosystem.

I write about that experience. It comes from my perspective.

The Problem With Most Guest Blogging Today

Most blogs accept anything. You pay them fifty bucks. They publish your poorly translated wall of text.

Nobody reads those posts. The internet is flooded with them.

I refuse to add to the garbage pile. When someone visits my blog, they expect a certain standard. I read a lot of bad writing online. I refuse to publish it.

If I accept a guest post partnership, I commit to the quality. That means I write it. I don’t paste your text into a window and hit publish. I sit at my desk and write every single sentence. I make sure the rhythm feels right.

Short sentences hit hard. Like that.

I break the rules sometimes. I start sentences with “And” or “Because.” Real writing is uneven. It has a pulse. A machine doesn’t know how to do that. A machine writes perfectly balanced paragraphs that put people to sleep.

When you hire me, you hire my brain. You hire my specific way of looking at the world.

Why I Insist on Authenticity

Look at tech reviewers on YouTube. Marques Brownlee doesn’t read a spec sheet sent by a phone manufacturer. He uses the phone for weeks. He complains about the battery. He praises the screen. You trust him because he actually touched the glass.

The same logic applies to software and writing.

Brand-written guest blogging is dead. Readers smell a sales pitch instantly. They click away. A fake article hurts your brand. It hurts my blog. Nobody wins.

When I write the post, it sounds like a human being. Because a human being wrote it. I use short words. I get straight to the point. I tell my readers exactly what your tool does well. I also tell them what it struggles with. This honesty builds trust. When I tell my audience that your tool solves a real problem, they believe me.

You get a post that people actually want to read.

The Mechanics of My Process

I don’t just log into your app and guess what it does. We start with an onboarding call or a detailed brief. You tell me who your target user is. You explain the core problem your software fixes.

Then I take over.

I spend a few days mapping out a content strategy. I look for an angle that fits my audience. Let’s say you built a tool for project managers. I won’t write an article called “Top Ten Features of Project Tool X.” That is boring. Nobody reads that.

Instead, I write about a real problem. “Why Most Remote Teams Fail at Communication.” I explain the psychology behind the problem. I talk about the friction in daily workflows. Then I introduce your software as the fix. I show screenshots of me using your tool to solve that exact communication breakdown.

It feels natural. It reads like a story.

I write the first draft. I edit it heavily. I remove long, boring words. I kill weak sentences. Sometimes the draft goes through five revisions before it feels right. You get a chance to review the facts. You don’t get to rewrite my opinions. I retain editorial control. That is how we keep the article authentic.

The Truth About Nofollow Links

Let’s talk about the elephant in the room. Search engine optimization.

Brands obsess over link equity. They want dofollow links. Medium adds a nofollow tag to outbound links in user-generated content. People see this and panic. They think the link holds zero value.

They are wrong.

A link serves two purposes. It tells search engines about your site. It also sends real humans to your site.

Google looks at nofollow links as hints for crawling. They see the link. They see the context. If an authoritative blog points to you, Google notices. They track brand mentions. They see the secondary traffic hitting your domain. The backlink value goes beyond a simple HTML tag.

More importantly, a nofollow link on a high-traffic Medium post drives actual buyers. A dofollow link on a dead website does nothing. Traffic matters. Getting your product in front of the right kind of audience matters.

My audience reads about tech, productivity, and building things. If your software solves their problems, they will click the link. They will sign up. A tag in the HTML code doesn’t stop them.

Real Value for Your Brand

Guest posting works when you respect the reader. I respect my readers.

When I use your software, I draw parallels to things they already understand. If I review a new task manager, I compare it to a kitchen ticket system in a busy restaurant. The cooks need the tickets in order. The waiters need them fast. Your software does the same thing for a digital team.

Real examples stick in the brain. Corporate jargon fades away.

You don’t need a thousand generic articles scattered across the internet. You need a handful of honest pieces written by people who know what they are talking about.

I know how to write. I know my audience. I know what makes them click.

Send me a message. Give me an account. Let me write it my way.
