Here's Why I Switched to SendFox From Aweber
Everyone wants the complex tool. They want the builder with 100 widgets. They want logic flows they never use. I see people paying $100 a month for features that sit idle. It's a waste.
SendFox keeps things simple.
I really enjoy the writing UI on the platform. It's clean. I find it the best place to draft my newsletter. There are no distractions. It feels like a simple text editor. That focus helps me ship email campaigns faster.
SendFox is the antidote to bloat. It is plain. It is fast. It is cheap. Most creators ignore it because it looks too simple. That's the point. I want to write an email and send it. I don't want to design a digital magazine every Tuesday. It is like buying a Ferrari to drive to the mailbox. A bicycle is better.
Upgrades you missed
The team has been busy. In the last six months, they fixed the things that matter. Maybe you missed them.
- The Contact Activity Timeline. I can see every interaction a person has with me in one feed. It shows when they joined and what they clicked. I don’t have to click through tabs to see if a subscriber is active. (Sweet!)
- Faster Navigation. The dashboard doesn't reload the whole page when I click around. It is fast. Speed changes how I work.
- New GDPR Text. I can change the wording on my opt-in forms. It keeps things consistent. (Unfortunately more important than you may realize.)
- Sequences that remember. If someone leaves and then comes back, they don't start from zero. They pick up where they left off in the autoresponder flow. I like this. It rewards the people who return.
- Bulk Actions. I can remove people from every mailing list at once. I can also download a list of people who quit. It is basic housekeeping. It used to be a chore.
The API is better
I use the API for my own projects. They added a way to control the preview text. I like having that power. They also added more ways to connect forms and domains. If you like to build your own stuff, this is a win for your marketing automation.
Truth be told, SendFox always has lagged behind in integrations, but it's startting to catch up. I chose to integrate them into my own listbuilding app.
Build your list now
You have been told to build a list. You probably ignored it. Now is the time to start. An email list is mandatory if you exist online. Social media is rented land. Your subscriber list is the only thing you own.
Just. Start.
Micro lists are becoming the new micro-influencers. The influencer market is expanding fast in 2026. I see it in my own inbox. I get at least three pitches every week for my YouTube channels. I get them for my Reddit properties too. Brands want these small, tight audiences. They are worth more than a million fake followers. High open rates beat massive reach every time.
Pro Tip: Stop using clunky popup software. They are annoying and slow. Instead, use a notification bar on every page of your site. I use alertbarpro to do this. It is a clear call to action that doesn't ruin the user experience. You'll see traffic convert into subscribers immediately – even from a trickle of traffic.
In terms of Facebook Groups, I have new leads being added from my Facebook Group to Sendfox directly with this integration.
Keep your business lean
Turn your email costs into a one-time payment. Stop the recurring monthly drain. I want to keep my business lean. SendFox helps me do that.
I use it because it stays out of my way. Sometimes I just want to ship an idea. I don't want to fight a layout engine for three hours. If your email bill is higher than your grocery bill, you're doing it wrong. Check out the SendFox changelog to see the full list of updates.
The price is a one-time fee. Most people spend more on a single dinner. It is a tool. It allows you to build a list. They do allow imports if you are migrating from another software like Kit or Mailchimp for example.
