It's the Weekend! Time for the Weekend Beat to get you through your weekend.
In a couple of hours, the USA vs France match begins. This could be even better than the final. One of these two teams goes out today!

1) Tool
Podcast App.
A tool I have been loving is the Podcast App.
It's just the podcast player I've been using and it works really well.
I've been a longtime listener of the ComeOnYouReds podcast, which is about Toronto FC.
And I've been binging on the “To Live and Die in LA” podcast. It's similar to serial where a reporter, in this case, Neil Strauss from Rolling Stone, is tracking the disappearance of Adea Shabani, an aspiring actress.
I find these podcasts that mix recorded phone calls and conversations with conjecture fascinating. This one has some twists in it that will keep you hooked.
I tend to listen to podcasts while cleaning up the kitchen at night, and sometimes while cooking.
2) Song
A song I've had on repeat this week is one of my all-time fav jazz songs. Love Me or Leave Me by the great Nina Simone.
I discovered Nina in my first year of university from a line from a Fugees song that made me curious. I picked up a used tape of one of her albums and was blown away.
You may or may not know that Nina (Eunice Waymon) was a gifted classically trained pianist. I love this song that interpolates some straight classical in the middle of the song. Gorgeous!
New to Nina? I *love* this 2 CD set. It's a great place to start.
3) Concept

Bitcoin is a new class of money. If you know nothing about bitcoin, consider buying even some to see how it works.
